Short paragraphs
The short paragraphs are those paragraphs that have between three and six lines. Although there are longer paragraphs, which can reach up to twenty lines, it is recommended that a paragraph have no more than four or five sentences.
A paragraph is a unit of a text made up of one or more sentences, beginning with a capital letter and ending with a new paragraph. The texts are organized in such a way that each paragraph deals with a central idea. Generally, the first sentence of each paragraph tends to make explicit what the main point to be developed is.
The length of the paragraphs varies in relation to the type of text that is written and the support of the text. For example, if the text is printed on paper, it is recommended that there be between three and eight paragraphs per page. However, short paragraphs are more recommended, because they are easier to read and understand.
For a text to be more visually pleasing, it is recommended that all paragraphs have more or less the same length. Therefore, if a short paragraph is used, it is recommended that all paragraphs of the text also be short.
