Example of Contract Items

Contract items are called articles formed grammar by the union of articles "a" and "de" with the article el, being only two in Spanish: "al" and "del".

Formation of the contract articles:

a + el = al

Let's go for a walk to the countryside.

of + the = of

We come of countryside.

Exceptions to the contract articles:

In the contracted articles there is an exception in the rule of their handling. This exception occurs when the article is part of the proper noun. For example:
