Sentence is the basic element of language with which we can communicate a complete idea. The sentences in English, as in Spanish, they are composed of subject and predicate.
The subject It is the part of the sentence that refers to who is being talked about. It consists of a main word that can be a noun or a pronoun (nucleus) and its complements (articles, adjectives, adverbs and conjunctions):

The predicate (predicate) It is the part of the sentence in which what is said about the subject is expressed. It is composed of a verb or a verbal construction (nucleus) and complements (adjectives, adverbs, direct object, indirect object).

A cat sleeps in the garden.
The fat, brown cat eats fish.
The old, red, ruined sofa you have broken this morning.
There are four basic types of sentences in English: interrogative sentences, exclamatory sentences, declarative sentences and imperative sentences.
Interrogative sentences.
Interrogative sentences are what we use to ask questions. They only have a question mark at the end:Can you take me a photo?
Declarative sentences. Declarative sentences describe an action or a state of the subject.
You take me a photo.
Exclamatory sentences. Exclamatory sentences resemble declarative sentences; However, the difference is that in the exclamatory ones the intention is to emphasize the sentence. They can also be accompanied by an interjection.
Wow! You take me a photo!
Imperative sentences. Imperative sentences give an order. Even if they have an introduction, like the particle por favor (please), the structure is of an imperative sentence. They are commonly in the second person and to distinguish themselves from the declarative ones, the pronoun is usually omitted:
Take me a photo, please.
Sometimes two types of sentence are used in the same expression, as when an imperative sentence is expressed as an exclamation:
Take me a photo!
