The term effective is an adjective used to indicate the ability or skill to obtain the expected results in a given situation. Applied for people and individuals, a device, a type of technology, a natural phenomenon and various things since it is not necessarily a human possibility. Being effective means that methodology action that is applied (consciously or not) is appropriate and therefore, the consequence will be as expected for each effect.
Effective is related to the idea of effect since it is a direct link between cause and effect or stimulus and effect. A certain action will always be followed by a result, that is, an effect. When that effect or result is appropriate and sought, the action becomes an effective action. The effectiveness of an action can then be taken into account for the development of future strategies that allow similar results to be obtained.
The term effective is used largely in professional and business settings where the app
of certain types of strategies is directly linked to obtaining results that benefit the activity planned. In this sense, the capitalist way of life is always related to this notion by holding that individuals triumphant in a society are those who manage to establish effective techniques and strategies in what they are perform. It has also been related in a very direct way to the efficiency that the workers of the first stage of the Industrial Revolution to generate the best results in the shortest possible time. However, there are numerous elements that fall outside of human actions that can also be considered effective. For example, a leopard establishing strategies for hunting appropriate, you are likely to become an effective hunter by obtaining the expected results. In the same way, a plant develops effective preservation methods to be able to survive in the environment.
