Definition of Right (Politics)

One of the most used uses of the word right is given precisely at the request of the political field where it is used to designate a kind of thought political that prioritizes conservation of the order as politics fundamental of any management of government. But the right has more definitions that characterize it as such and then we must add to the above: the defense of individual freedom, private property, the free market, among the most prominent.
It should also be noted that the concept of the political right exists and coexists with another, which is opposes and fights it, and that is why it would not exist if the right did not exist and vice versa, which is the one of Left politics.
Furthermore, the concept at hand is often explained or understood through the characteristics that define the left.
Meanwhile, then, the left proposes the opposite: progress and change in the face of the conservatism proclaimed by the right and the achievement of the equality social as the ultimate goal of your proposal.
Both concepts, right and left, have a common origin that dates back to the times of the French Revolution, back in the late eighteenth century, in France. History reveals that in those moments of critical political discussions between the factions that faced that were basically two, those who proposed a resounding change in the state of affairs and with it the disappearance of the monarchy and, on the other hand, those who did not want to modify that too much situation.
The usual thing was that in the controversies that took place in the Assembly National those who were more conservative sat on the right and revolutionaries on the left and then it is from this particular way of locating that both concepts of such widespread use in politics arose world.
Without a doubt the liberal system known as liberalism it is one of the currents most associated with the right. In principle, this link is marked by the fundamental proposals of liberalism which are: individual freedom and market freedom.
On Spain for example, the right is manifested by the Popular Party (PP) that even today is at the head of the executive.
