English / / July 04, 2021
Two or more people have a conversation in present perfect when they talk about events that have happened for a long time and can be repeated in the present, either sporadically or constantly. When they use the English language, they apply the grammar rules that correspond to the present perfect. As in each verb tense, it will have the following structures for each type of sentence, which can be affirmative, negative or question.
In order to affirmative sentences in present perfect, it is used:
Subject + verb Have + verb in Past participle + Predicate or rest of the sentence
Written entirely in English, it remains:
Noun / Name + Have + Verb in past participle + Rest of the sentence
In order to negative sentences in present perfect, it is used:
Subject + verb Haven´t (have not) + verb in Past participle + Predicate or rest of the sentence
Written entirely in English, it remains:
Noun / Name + Haven´t (have not) + Verb in past participle + Rest of the sentence
In order to questions in present perfect, it is used:
verb Have + Subject + verb in Past participle + Predicate or rest of the question + sign (?)
