The plain is known as the territorial and geographical space that does not present any type of relief or alteration to what is considered sea level. In this sense, the plain is easily differentiated from other terrains such as the plateau, the Mountain or even depression since all of them have a greater or lesser height than sea level. The plain is, for this very characteristic, one of the most convenient spaces for culture and that is why geographically they are usually the most inhabited areas.
The plain is usually a territory extensive and, as its name says, flat, that is, without reliefs, depressions or altitudes that make it uneven. It is for this reason that it is used mainly for economic activities such as farming and grazing or livestock since it is much more accessible than other regions or lands in which there is a greater presence of rocks, slopes, etc.
Although the human being has managed to adapt to various types of soils, the reality is that the plain continues to be always preferred by the comfort and in some cases it is also added the fact that the lands are extremely fertile, without the presence of rocks and with soils damp.
The formation of the plains may depend on several factors. To a large extent, the plains are lands worked by the erosion of various natural elements such as the Water or the wind through millions of years, which has caused the terrain to lose height. In other cases, the plains are formed from sediments that can be left by river beds or even particles that are left by the wind or different currents of air. Obviously, these transformations are invisible in terms of human time but significant in terms of Earth time. When we speak of plains created by sediments we must point out that the type of sediment left by the water, for example, will determine the type of fertility of the I usually since some particles are more humid and even the sediments carried by the water are usually more beneficial than those carried by the wind.
