The slang in English, are words or expressions that have their origin in the way of speaking of the neighborhoods poor or marginalized, mainly of African American population, as well as the prisons of the States United.

Like the "idioms", the colloquial expressions, the slang it is a form of metalanguage, that is, expressions that with the use of metaphors, ironies or comparisons, enrich the expression.
