    Example of 4 Types of Sentences in English (Four Kinds Of Sentences)

    To express ideas clearly in writing, you must order the words within prayers. A prayer It is a group of words that express a complete thought.     Interrogative Sentences (Interrogative Sentences): An interrogative sentence asks a question. It ends with a question mark.

    Imperative Sentences (Imperative Sentences): An imperative sentence gives an order or asks for a request. End with a period

    • Do not stay outside any longer.
    • Come here, please.
    • Go home.

    Exclamatory Sentences (Exclamatory Sentences): An exclamatory sentence expresses strong feelings. And it ends with an exclamation point.

    You can also transform a sentence declarative, interrogative or imperative in a exclamatory sentence just by changing the question mark or period to an exclamation point.
