But referring to its strictly Greek origins, drama would be something like the synonym of theater, because it is defined as the presentation of actions through the representation of actors, through the use of dialogue and under the watchful eye of an audience.
What literary genre exclusively, the drama, in Ancient Greece, was divided into two: Tragedy and Comedy, this division being practically obsolete today because no one thinks of associating drama with comedy, nowadays they are understood as two autonomous and opposed genres. symbolic and realistic genre, leaving farce, melodrama and tragicomedy inscribed in the first and tragedy and comedy in the second.Meanwhile, with regard to the cinematographic universe and as I mentioned above, a drama is characterized by being a story in which the serious, adult theme prevails and with some other seasoning sad.
