Although you often hear about the term 'fiber optics', there are few opportunities we have to understand what it is about. When we talk about fiber optics we are referring to a type of material that has been specially designed to ensure greater velocity Y safety in the area of telecommunications. Optical fiber is nothing more than a large set of transparent threads, usually made of glass or plastic.
