The term manifest is designated as that declaration of principles and intentions that an individual makes and that can be both of a nature politics as artistic.
Politically speaking and at the behest of a democracy parliamentary, a manifesto will be that declaration of principles and intentions that a political party will be carried out to not only outline and give an account of the strategic direction that the party will take, but also to draw the first outlines of its eventual legislation, in case of being elected in the elections that take place.
Generally, those proposals, policies, initiatives that appear in a party's manifesto politician who has already won the elections, will enjoy a much higher consideration than any other measure of government that can be introduced, showing such legitimacy that will cause the legislature to consider them.
On the other hand, for art, a manifesto is usually related to what is known as avant-garde and strictly speaking it will be called that way.
