Darkness is the total or partial absence of light and clarity that makes it more difficult for human beings to perceive things, objects, and even other people.
The question of darkness is a theme that has been and is present in various contexts. For example, in the case of science, the dark object stands out for reflecting fewer photons than other objects and for example it looks dark in comparison with the rest.
In thepoetry, the theme of darkness is also very much alive since that concept has been used as a symbol negative moods such is the case of depression or to account for the evil that someone has: Juan has a lot of darkness, I don't like it for you.
It should be noted that in those people who suffer from fears, phobias, darkness turns out to be an extremely conflictive issue since it can increase those sensations and feelings.
For its part, the plane artistic, uses darkness generally as opposed to light to emphasize a particular situation, individual, or object being portrayed. To create the dark tones it is necessary to combine several colors, for example, the mixture of the primary colors will absorb the light and give way to an absolute black.
Meanwhile, in the religion and in mythology darkness is a thematic that he has also said present and that as with the literature It has been linked to evil and those evil and harmful individuals.
In common language it is also common for us to use the word darkness to express various situations, on the one hand, to account for the lack of clarity that a matter presents and that therefore complicates both their understanding and their communication. And on the other hand, we use it when an event is surrounded by mystery and the lack of information about the causes or events that triggered it.
Likewise, when our mind is going through a moment of confusion or alteration due to a situation, it can be expressed in terms of darkness.
