The one of Mode of production is a present and particular concept of the Marxist theory.
Mode by which goods and services necessary for human life are produced
The Marxism or Marxist theory is the name given to the series of philosophical ideas and doctrines of a political nature that were proposed and promoted by the German philosopher Karl Marx.
According to Marx's vision, the mode of production designates the social way in which the goods and services that are considered necessary for the life of human beings are produced, manufactured.
Meanwhile, the production mode will combine, on the one hand, the productive forces , represented by the human workforce and by the technological knowledge of the means of production such as tools, machinery, materials, among others.
And the production relations which include ownership, power and control by those who hold the resources of production.
For Marx, the faculty of production and social relations were two basic and differential conditions of human beings.
For a person to survive in society, it is necessary for them to consume, whereas that consumption will imply production and it is precisely at this point that those who consume with those who produce come together.
On the other hand, Marx, considered that the social order is closely linked to the mode of existing production in the society in question and also with the distribution of income and the same consumption.
How it is produced will tell us a lot about the distribution of wealth and consumption that exists in that society.
Regarding the structure of a society, it will not be in relation to men, their ideas, the state, not even the right, but it will be again the mode of production that establishes the characteristics and structure of the community.
The modes of production through time: socialism versus capitalism
Meanwhile, if the mode of production changes, something that is likely to happen when the forces of production confront relations, everything will change. politics, the economy, religion, art, culture, among others, and will give way to the revolution.
In ancient times, back in the Paleolithic and Neolithic periods, when social organizations began to emerge, the force was minimal. production, while ownership of the means of production belonged to everyone and the distribution of the production that was carried out from them tended to the equality and the Balance; only the satisfaction of needs was sought.
And on the other hand, it cannot be ignored that in those times men cooperated with each other, since they lived from fishing, gathering, or hunting, and what they obtained from those activities was normally shared with the community to which they were belonged.
In these times, women played a fundamental role since they were in charge of the distribution of goods. produced and by case had a political and economic relevance, giving rise to what is known as matriarchy.
With the passing of the centuries and the advances that have been made in all areas, the capitalist system has been imposed and with it the paid workers who do not own the means of employment appeared. production, while these belong to private hands, which are the ones that hire these workers to provide their services in exchange for a salary and produce goods with their means of income. production.
The Socialism emerged as the opposite of the Capitalism, promoted that the distribution of wealth is more egalitarian and that there is no private ownership of the means of production, only in this way can the inequality social that capitalism naturally produces.
In some way, Socialism proposes a return to those initiatory forms of the Palaeolithic and Neolithic where cooperation and help among all and the means of production were not of an elite but of the entire community that used them to satisfy their needs and subsist.
Harmony in relationships was a reality in these times and there was nothing like it happens in the capitalism an exploitation of man towards another man, only what was necessary for all and nothing more.
