Tuber grown in South America and widely used as food
The potato, also known as potato, tuber, is a plant that is part of the family of the nightshade, it is original from South America and especially cultivated throughout the world as a result of its edible tubers.
On Botany A tuber is licked from the part of an underground stem that grows significantly underground and a huge amount of reserve substances gather in its cells.
Originally cultivated in the Andean highlands by its inhabitants, about 7 thousand years ago, the potato transcended the borders of the American continent thanks to the conquerors who brought it with it to Spain, first as a curiosity of botany, although later its nutritional function would be the one that would take the lead, spreading rapidly throughout the world until it became one of the main foods that humans consume anywhere on planet earth.
Nutritional value and basis of human nutrition
The potato is an easy-to-eat food and has a very high nutritional value per se, 78% water and 18%starch, the rest is completed by varying amounts of protein, minerals, lipids and vitamins.
Although as we mentioned, the potato has been erected at the base of the feeding human, being able to ingest it in the most varied ways: baked, fried, roasted and pureed.
Normally the potato, cooked in any of the aforementioned ways, is served as an accompaniment to a main dish, being called for this situation as a garnish.
Thus, if you are going to eat at one of these fast food places, the combos that they offer of a meat or chicken burger are accompanied by a pack of fries.
On the other hand, if you order baked meat, fish, or a portion in the Format Whoever you like, it is usually accompanied with a mashed potato.
Now, the potato is not exhausted in gastronomic use and it is also a precious component for technology, who has used it for the elaboration of cosmetics, newsprint and even alcohol.
Highest authority of the Catholic Church
And the other very widespread use of the word papa, although capitalized, Papa, since it refers to an important position, and is usually written that way, it allows to designate the highest authority of the Catholic Church, Bishop of Rome and Head of State of Vatican City, among other titles.
Francis, Pope of the people
The current Pope is Francisco, who was elected on March 13, 2013, in the conclave celebrated by cardinals for the purpose of electing a pope to succeed the resigning pope Benedict XVI. The latter remains today as Pope Emeritus.
Francisco is the 266th Pope of the Church, he is a native of Argentina, having served as Cardinal and Archbishop of the City of Buenos Aires until he was proclaimed as Pope.
His secular name is Jorge Mario Bergoglio.
The decision to call himself Francisco had to do with honoring Saint Francis of Assisi, who was the founder of the Franciscan Order.
Since taking office, Francis has marked his personal stamp in the Vatican, quite different in ways from his predecessors.
In every act and gesture he shows his closeness to the poor and marginalized, he has shown some signs of openness and acceptance in cases such as the divorced, and shows every day his simplicity and modesty by residing in the Vatican guesthouse instead of the papal residence used by those who preceded him.
He is currently considered one of the most influential people in the world.
Nonsense and synonym of father
On the other hand, the word papa can be used in some Spanish-speaking places to indicate nonsense and when he writes and uses with accentuation in the last á, papa is synonymous with the father, that is, the man in relation to his children.
