Example of Dialogue In English In A Restaurant
English / / July 04, 2021
A dialogue in English in a restaurant is an exchange of phrases in this language between one or more people who fulfill the role of customer or diner, and another who works in the restaurant. The topics that are addressed between them always have as a context the service offered in this place, so there can be very varied situations such as:
- Choice of table for the people who are arriving
- Ask for food recommendations on the menu
- Ask for drink recommendations on the menu
- Ask about promotions or discounts by season
- Ask for starters, main dishes and desserts
- Ask for the final bill
When the number of phrases that are exchanged increases, the interaction becomes a conversation in English.

Waiter: Sure, how hungry are you?
Client: A lot!, we want to share a meal for two.
Waiter: Excellent, I recommend the pepperoni pizza with parmesan cheese.
Client: Sounds good! Is it too big? sometimes the dough fills me horribly.
Waiter: Great question! It´s a thin and crunchy dough with a layer of cheese and pepperoni.
Client: Just what we are craving for!
Waiter: Then I´ll take your order now. A pepperoni pizza with parmesan cheese.
