A radio script It is a booklet that includes and details everything that will happen in a radio production. It is the tool that allows planning and recording the sound material that will be necessary for the broadcast, as well as the instructions to be followed by the people who carry out the program.
The radio script expresses the decisions, previously made, of a process that will end in the ether: who speaks, when the music enters, what sound effect will accompany the story, etc.
Who uses the script?
By having each one the same script, the work develops more fluidly and neatly. It should be taken into account that the radio script has to be conceived so that the product can be heard, so any message that requires gestures must be explained verbally.
Why is it important to create a radio script?
Having a script when running a radio program is important because:
- It acts as a safety net and eliminates the tension caused by the emission.
- It ensures that nothing will be left out and that everything will have its due time and will come out in a certain order.
- Collaborate in the clear presentation of the ideas presented to the listening public.
