To do this, it is measured how the values of the dependent variable are modified according to the changes that occur in the values of the independent variable.
In this type of study, it is necessary to take into account that a variable that is considered dependent in an analysis can be independent in another and vice versa, because it depends on how the researcher establishes the causal relationship between two events.
However, to make a hypothesis scientific cause-effect, there must be a relevant theoretical basis that justifies the incidence that has a factor in a phenomenon, that is, the repercussion that the independent variable has on the variable dependent.
