México, D.F., April 23, 2007 - BURGER KING®, as a result of a commercial alliance with Columbia Pictures, Inc., brings to all restaurants in the Mexican Republic “Spiderman 3” in its Combo X-treme Spiderman. The combo consists of two hamburger presentations: X-treme or X-treme FIRE (with chipotle cheese sauce) with Criss-Cut potatoes and soda; giving customers the possibility to give in to the X-treme temptation that they want. Following the philosophy AS YOU WANT®, in which the power to choose and decide is the client.
"Spiderman 3" is based on the legendary Marvel Comics series. Peter Parker finally achieves the balance between his duties as a superhero and his devotion to Mary Jane. He now discovers that he has superior powers, but they at the same time make him a negative and intolerant man. Peter Parker will have to overcome the temptation to use the powers that show the dark side of him to be the compassionate hero that he always was; in addition to defeating fearsome villains.
Like Spiderman's alter ego, the X-treme Spiderman Combo offers the ability to give in to the temptation of an X-treme or an X-treme Fire, in combos with Criss-Cut potatoes and soda, medium or big; and for children or simply for those who wish to eat less, the small combo comes with the X-treme or X-treme FIRE in Junior size with Criss-Cut potatoes and small soda. * Following the AS YOU WANT® philosophy in both the variety of hamburgers and the sizes of the products.

From the villains, the toys: "Menacing Venom", "Step and seal Venom", "The New Goblin", "The Sandbox turns and rolls" and "The sandbox fists of fury". *

The launch is accompanied by a strong advertising campaign, made up mainly of POP material, a radio spot and three television spots; a TV spot is about an entertaining short of the film that shows the temptations of Spiderman and the temptations X-treme; In the other spot an indecisive client appears trying to choose between the X-treme and the X-treme FIRE, but in the end we are surprised to see that this peculiar client is hanging upside down from the ceiling; finally the spot aimed at children.
