Importance of Taking Care of Posture

Very often we adopt incorrect body positions for physical well-being. Posture care is a determining issue to maintain good health. Unfortunately it is normal that one forgets or simply does not perceive when it is precisely necessary to place attention to this aspect.
Why is it worth taking care of body position?
An adequate position of the body is a good measure to avoid muscular and joint problems. In this sense, some pathologies are directly related to an incorrect position, such as low back pain, cervical pain, scoliosis, etc.
If our bones and muscles maintain an incorrect position, it is very likely that other vital functions are negatively affected. Thus, a runner breathes better if he keeps his body aligned or a writer will avoid headaches if his way of sitting at the computer is correct.
From an aesthetic point of view, certain body positions communicate a negative image. Let us remember that the people that they are hunched over, they may appear older than they really are and that if someone places their chin on their chest, their gaze is directed towards the ground. Taking care of your posture is a way to prevent some health problems
In it language It is popularly said that prevention is better than cure. This principle can be applied to the question of body position. Bad postures are problematic when they become habitual and when the necessary preventive measures are not adopted.
Specialists recommend some guidelines that serve to correct the negative impact of bad postures:
1) perform physical exercises aimed at correcting postural errors,
2) use technological devices with healthy criteria,
3) sit in a balanced position, with your back straight and feet on the floor and
4) change the position of the body periodically to avoid possible dysfunctions.
Finally, it must be remembered that poor postures can become over time time in chronic diseases that, in turn, generate other types of problems: inability to work, depression, dependence on drugs to relieve pain, etc.
