Importance of Early Attention

The conventional idea of a center of attention Early childhood is usually related to children from 0 to 6 years of age with some physical, mental or sensory disability who need to learn strategies to adapt to daily life. This image is true, but it does not cover the whole concept of early care. Thus, these centers are also dedicated to promoting the psychomotricity of children born prematurely.
The professionals who work in early care centers come from different areas, such as physiotherapy, psychology, speech therapy or pedagogy.
Early attention programs usually consider their activity based on two axes: coordination with families and carrying out individualized activities adapted to each child.
stimulation of premature infants
Children who have not developed their entire organism or some of their intellectual capacities need specific attention. In a specialized early care center, professionals know how to physically and intellectually stimulate these children.
Premature infants may have some type of disability or be at risk of suffering from it in the future. This implies that early attention has an important preventive component.
The evolution of these children does not depend exclusively on the techniques and exercises carried out in early care centers, since the role of families is equally highly relevant. Parents can continue with the exercises at home, observe their evolution and actively participate by collaborating with the professionals who care for their children.
The role of early attention in children with autism
Autism spectrum disorder in children should be treated with early care professionals, especially those dedicated to developmental psychology, pedagogues, and speech therapists.
Autism is a syndrome that cannot be cured, but the quality of life of autistic children can be significantly improved if they are cared for in specialized centers.
One of the fundamental aspects is to start care programs as soon as possible, since it must be taken into account that the problems associated with autism accumulate progressively.
To increase the physical and psychological development of children with autism it is necessary to take into account two fundamental aspects: improve their physical and intellectual skills and, at the same time, enhance their well-being emotional. In early care programs it is important that children with autism improve their language skills and that they manage to adapt as well as possible to the world around them.
