Importance of Grammar

Grammar refers to the compendium of rules, regularities and exceptions that govern a given language. Its importance lies in the fact that it serves as a reference text in case of doubts regarding the use of the language, to establish correct ways of expressing or to analyze this language. The grammars above all have a descriptive or prescriptive character, that is, they focus on unraveling the way in which a language is used determined, or focus on establishing how it should be used, accounting for the most widespread uses in a community speaker.
