Importance of Tranquility
Miscellanea / / August 08, 2023
Usually understood as a rare element in our hectic and urban lives, tranquility is undoubtedly a central element for our well-being, at all times of our lives. It is normal that it seems that at certain ages it is more important than at others (for example, when one is old), but in reality all we need to live quietly or be able to enjoy moments of peace and harmony regardless of our age, the place where we live, etc
Modern life prevents us from living in a harmonious and relaxed way
For most people who live in big cities where there is always noise, a lot of people and things to do without being able to stop, tranquility is a rare commodity. That is why places or spaces are specifically sought where one can experience that feeling in the midst of chaos or the urban jungle. Living calmly allows us to improve our quality of life and is not limited simply to being a choice but is also linked to Being able to lower your heart rate, being able to clear your head and mind of negative or harmful thoughts, being able to enjoy the company of other people, etc
However, today it is very difficult to achieve this because the daily routines we are exposed to are becoming more and more stressful. Thus, between the beginning and the end of the day, perhaps we have experienced few situations of well-being or pleasure and that is why moodiness, anguish, and despair also abound.
Living harmoniously is not just an external issue: you have to seek tranquility within yourself
Everything said so far allows us to think about how the life we lead affects our health and well-being. The cities and the enormous number of population that lives in them does not help us achieve it and that is why we must then resort to strategies that allow us to isolate ourselves if necessary and find moments with ourselves, in which our mind can reach its fullness and welfare.
There are numerous possibilities for this: make exercise physical is one, also finding activities that inspire us and lead us to meet with ourselves, even to recognize parts or intrinsic elements of our being that we did not know, etc. Also the social activities in a framework of peace and construction are very useful because they allow us to feel part of groups in which harmony and solidarity are important.
