Importance of Solar Radiation
Miscellanea / / August 08, 2023
The sun's rays influence the earth throughout the day. They are essential for the production of electrical energy, as a necessary element for the growth of crops, etc. However, excess of these can also be very harmful. It must be taken into account that, thanks to the different natural filters in the atmosphere, the strength of the sun's rays is much less.
The current problem begins with the industrialization process of the last century, especially in the northern hemisphere of the planet. This has meant that the emission of gases expelled by companies of all kinds, from oil companies, automotive factories, textiles, etc., have managed to make these natural filters of the atmosphere are significantly weakened, causing the radiation to enter with more force, thus affecting the surface of the planet. As a result, more arid areas have been created naturally, a decrease in species animals altering his ecosystem, attacking the human being, especially as far as skin burns are concerned, in a more dangerous way...
The most affected area of the planet is the ozone layer, due to all the gases that have been accumulating and that have weakened, making possible the appearance of large holes through which solar radiation enters almost uncontrollably. Whether due to these or other difficulties, the human being is beginning to take awareness that this is a problem that cannot be left for later, that it must be solved not today, but yesterday.
For a couple of decades now, we have been much more aware of this global problem. Many environmental movements, public institutions and national, European and international governments have realized that betting on solutions to excess solar radiation on our planet, helps to stabilize its climate, to prevent the disappearance of flora and fauna in many places that are essential, even as biosphere reserves, and, something very important, protects the human being from an increase in problems related to skin diseases, melanomas, etc
We must be aware that what is essential for life on a planet, in excess, can be completely counterproductive. For this reason, the key is to find the balance between what the human being needs and what is beneficial for him and, on the other hand, to put all the resources at our disposal, intelligence, and solutions, to make our planet a greener, more ecological, more natural space and in harmony with the earth, more protected against solar radiation.
