As in any social institution, the regulation or set of rules is of clear importance in ordering the coexistence and guide the behavior of all the individuals that are part of it. This happens with one of the most modern institutions but at the same time most assimilated by societies around the world: the school. At school, students of different ages attend to be educated in numerous knowledge and also to learn to live in society.
The school fulfills an educational role of significant importance throughout the life of each person, especially if we take into account that an individual spends a large part of his daily time there and from early childhood to the end of the adolescence. The educational institution's objective is the passage and transmission of a large number of contents and knowledge that have been chosen as representative of a culture. or a way of thinking and considered at the same time as those that must be passed from generation to generation for the survival of the human race or of a society specific.
But on the other hand, the school institution fulfills a secondary role that cannot be left aside and that is one that has to do with the adaptation of subjects to life in society, to the community in which they live and to their characteristics individuals. Thus, the school serves as a teaching of habits, customs and behaviors that should help the boy or girl to better adapt to life in society and that will also serve the latter to ensure peaceful coexistence and ordered.
This is where the role of school regulations enters with great force and importance, the one that establishes all the guidelines of behavior, rules and forms of sociability that last from the boy's or girl's admission to the institution until their discharge. School regulations often have to do with specific aspects of the institution such as the compliance with schedules, respect for the use of certain clothing, respect for others, etc However, all these regulations have a social substrate since they make the person can then understand its importance when it comes to, for example, starting a family, getting a job, starting an educational career superior. School regulations may vary in demand and formality depending on each institution and what the choose as appropriate students, but in general they always deal with the same behaviors and habits of I respect, tolerance, education and order.
