Scientific knowledge is the highest expression of human knowledge. Scholars have taken very important steps to understand the laws that govern the universe, to decipher the enigmas of the brain or in relation to subatomic structures. Despite all these advances, there is a mystery that remains hidden and for which we do not have an answer, only some beliefs and some personal testimonies that are not always reliable.
We are talking about a question as old as humanity itself: is there life after death?
The big question that no one is able to answer
For a believing person with religious convictions, the answer is obvious: earthly life is a period of our existence and if we manage to save our soul when the end of the world comes, we have the divine promise of Resurrection. In a strict sense, it is not "returning to life", but rather those who die in the grace of God will enjoy eternal life.
from a perspective purely biological, man and all living beings they are subject to the same process: the death of an organism means the end of all life.
The question of life after death has also been approached from another perspective. Thus, there are people who claim to have experienced their real death and after that they have returned to life.
The testimonies that are known are shocking and deeply striking. About them there are two opposing versions:
1) the experience of returning from the afterlife indicates that earthly life does not have a beginning and an end, since the mysterious light that is observed in these phenomena is interpreted as the transition to another form of life and
2) the vision of a radiant white light accompanied by a deep inner peace is a state of awareness which is related to the lack of oxygen in the brain.
many lives
in certain traditions religious it is affirmed that our earthly life is part of a more complex process.
According to the Buddhist tradition, the human soul has traveled through the different dimensions of the universe. This phenomenon is explained through the Wheel of Samsara. It basically consists of the following mechanism: the soul of a living being is subject to a permanent reincarnation process in which the spirit yearns for perfection.
The destiny of each individual towards the new form of existence depends on his dharma and his karma, that is, on the good actions he has performed and the consequences of those actions.
This cycle of repetition is present in Buddhism, but also in Brahmanism, Platonism or Orphism.
