To understand what we are talking about when we say agricultural land, we first need to understand and know what it is. floor, in general. The ground is nothing more and nothing less than the part of the Earth where we are standing, where we we settle with our feet when standing still and also where all existing things are established on the face of the planet. Put a little more scientifically, soil is the upper part of the earth's crust, which contains several layers, and of which the soil is the one found in a "biological activity", based on the interaction of the abiotic factors and the biotic factors that inhabit the planet.
So why is this interaction important for the soil? It is important because abiotic factors have the ability to mutate and change over time., as is the case with rocks, for example, which can alter their shape, and in this way also alter the composition of the soil. Likewise, biotic factors, which are those that have life as the case of plants, animals and humans,
also its action has a great influence on the issue of soil changes and erosion. For example, in the case of human beings, through the activity of the agriculture can be extensively transformed characteristics of a specific soil surface, which is not always a good thing - in most cases, it is even always a negative thing.Basically, agricultural land is one that has the appropriate characteristics for the development of agricultural activity, that is, that It is conducive to the development of life, taking into account that vegetables, legumes, oilseeds, etc. In any case, agricultural land is also supposed to be suitable for livestock production, from which work is done on raising animals (cattle).
The main characteristics of agricultural land is that it is located in climate zones that favor development and growth of crops, taking into account mainly the variation of rainfall (rains), temperature, winds, periodicity of events such as climatic phenomena (electrical storms, strong winds, etc.); On the other hand, the soil must be rich in nutrients, and the slope of the soil also influences, which in the case of soils suitable for agriculture must be equal to or less than 5% (it can be measured by a certain process with tools specific).
