Importance of being happy

If a scientist invented a pill to guarantee happiness, it is more than likely that all of humanity would want to ingest it. The sad and afflicted would take it to abandon their worries and those who are already happy would also take it because in this way they could be even happier. In conclusion, no one is indifferent in relation to happiness. While this idea is true, an obvious fact is also true: we don't know what the infallible recipe for happiness is. It is very possible that there is no magic recipe to achieve the desired happiness, but there are some guidelines that can help achieve it.
Small formulas that help on the path to happiness
– The Sun is a source of energy and, in fact, in countries with few hours of sunshine per year, more suicides occur than in the temperate zones of the planet. Consequently, taking a few rays of sun outdoors does not guarantee happiness, but it can bring us closer to it.
- He exercise body is a source of pleasure because it activates endorphins, some hormones directly related to the feeling of well-being.
– Relationships with others enrich us as individuals and can make us happy. The man or woman who lives in isolation will not have friends, nor will they fall in love, nor will they be able to share his desires and frustrations.
– Pain and lack of health are incompatible with happiness. Therefore, we must avoid everything that causes us suffering and pain and, at the same time, cultivate the health of the body and mind.
Paths that lead us astray in the search for happiness
The feeling of pleasure can easily be confused with happiness. This confusion leads some down the path of alcohol, drug, and other addictions. any form of dependency physical or psychological is self-deception and a double-edged sword. In the long run, these paths are harmful, destructive and far removed from inner happiness.
Ideas are not harmless and end up taking over one. Some of them are harmful and it is preferable to avoid them. Among them we can highlight some: everyone is selfish, life is a valley of tears, every day we are getting worse, the human being goes against the nature, being happy is for idiots, etc. With this type of ideas or reflections it is very difficult to get closer to happiness. This does not mean that we should deceive ourselves and pretend ideas that we do not have, but rather that negative thoughts are dangerous and should be known in order to counteract them in some way.
