Importance of Chemistry and Love at First Sight
Miscellanea / / August 08, 2023
Although the idea of love has many dimensions, there is one in particular that arouses special interest. We refer to the passion that occurs when two people they are powerfully attracted. In it language Popular talk about the chemistry of love.
By using the word chemistry we are not using a metaphor suggestive, but actually the process of falling in love is linked to a series of singular biochemical alterations. This pairing has a very striking version, love at first sight.
The role of neurotransmitters is decisive in understanding the intensity of love
When we are faced with a dangerous situation, the brain has a confused and at the same time intense reaction. Something very similar happens when we are attracted to someone. Thus, an inner turmoil occurs that numbs us emotionally.
As a general pattern, we experience a series of bodily reactions: a slight pressure on the chest, an increase in temperature, a feeling of nervousness and a faster than usual heart rate. When the desired person approaches one feels strange, with a mixture of happiness and restlessness.
Logically, in the absence of a loved one, melancholy and frustration appear. These symptoms come from our brain, specifically from a series of neurotransmitters (the most significant are dopamine, adrenaline, oxytocin, serotonin and endorphins).
In a way, we could say that our brain chemistry is shaken like a cocktail shaker. Each of the components of the shaker alters our nervous system and in those moments we experience something magical and difficult to express. When this happens, we use a metaphor to express it: we have butterflies in our stomachs, Cupid's arrow hit us, we have a crush on someone or we drink the winds for the person we love.
And suddenly an unexpected arrow pierces our hearts
Love at first sight is like a magic game, because we try to give it an explanation but we can't find it.
If we analyze this phenomenon rationally, it is absurd, since it makes no sense to fall in love with a person who just met a few seconds or minutes ago. Despite the fact that reason says that it is not possible, the unquestionable fact is that there are people who after a exchange of glances feel an instant pulse, a kind of electric current that runs through their body.
That fleeting and mysterious moment can be the beginning of a stable and lasting relationship.
And who can guarantee the validity date of a couple, considering the time they are together?
There are no written rules, and in any case, it is fears that stand in the way of obstacles.
There are reviews for all tastes. Some speak of the force of destiny, others of the soul mates that have found each other and also says it's really just a sexual attraction that has nothing to do with affection TRUE.
