Miscellanea / / August 08, 2023
Throughout our lives, and on a daily basis, we are linked and relate to other people, according to our activities, interests, interests, hobbies, etc. He human being could not live without relating to other humans, since it has an essence of "Be social" that always disposes him to act together with other people, in different fields.
Since we are born, we are part of what is known as primary social group: our family. With our parents, brothers, grandparents, uncles, cousins, etc; we establish the first possible social links, and it is where we acquire skills such as walking, speaking, manipulate objects, write (or at least try to) or draw, ask questions when we don't know what it is or means something etc In this classification are also the first groups outside the family circle made up of friends and colleagues, in different fields: the school, the club, the friends of the neighbourhood.
Then, the secondary social groups are those that with the other members, we share goals, goals or common interests, and that is why we are part of that same social space
. With our peers at school or college, we share our goal of completing studies, and in the case of university, obtain a professional degree in an area that we like and attracts. Together with our teammates from the basketball club, we have the goal that we set for ourselves at the start of the season: to surpass at least third place in the standings, which we achieved last year. If we attend an art center, with the other people who attend we share the taste for painting with oils and the goal is to improve the techniques we use more and more. But also, with the members of the groups to which we belong, we also share other elements (not all, but yes). some): language skills (we speak the same language or can communicate in a common language), technical knowledge or academics, religion or beliefs, traditions, habits, practices, ways of dressing and ways of speaking, etc. Another characteristic of the groups is the adoption o Creation of a community identity: school students who wear a certain uniform, a march or song that identifies a political association, the logo of a non-governmental organization, the emblem of a sports club, the name and motto of a center artistic.
In this way, and in the same way that when we were children and within our primary social group (the family) we learned the basic skills that we would need For our life, within the secondary social groups we further nurture our skill potential and acquire new knowledge all the time.
