Importance of Measurements

All study scientist starts from a first step that consists of the Observation, being this covered initially by the analysis of the characteristics generals of a thing (the so-called Extrinsic Analysis) for which later we arrive at a much more detailed and precise vision of some of its characteristics, this being the intrinsic analysis which requires the application of Optical and Light Instrumentation appropriate, among other instruments.
In order to provide greater precision to this operation, it is also used what are the Measurement tools, being those the auxiliary element that allows the application of just one Measurement Scale which consists of the application of a comparison with respect to a arbitrary value that has been defined and considered valid by a particular scientific community.
The best known form and the one we often use is in the Lenght measures, is in the employment of a Ruler or Tape Measure or any instrument that allows us to compare around what a Unit is (in this case, the
Meter) the size that a figure occupies in space, being then the measurement the estimate of the Magnitude of something keeping in mind what it is Measurement Pattern. It could be affirmed then that the importance of carrying out a Measurement about something lies in obtaining a Unknown data referring to his comparison with a Known Fact, being the first the characteristic inherent to the object that will be measured with the Measuring Instruments suitable, while the latter is the Unit of Measurement that we used to make the comparison.
However, this measurement is often not the same, since there may be a factor known as Error range in which the operator who has carried out said task may incur, for which reason what is known as Measurement Statistics being an average value of all the measurements that have been carried out (that is, the operation must be repeated respecting the same conditions of the field of job)
This is also complemented by the contribution of Auxiliary Sciences that allow to carry out Indirect Measurements which result from the combination of Units of Measurement to obtain a specific value, as in the case of the Concentration where it is possible to estimate whether a compound is a Saturated or Unsaturated Solution around a ratio of Solvent Volume with the amount of heavy solute previously and that has been incorporated into the system.

I think that measurement is important since it helps us to find data that we do not know, for example, I know that in Guatemala we use the pound measurement system to express when we weigh ("I weigh 100lbs") and in the United States they use kilograms (I know that 1 pound is 2.2kg) So to find out how much I weigh in the US I multiply 2.2 * 100 = 220kg this would weigh in USA. It is also important to know that there are different types of measurements, these can be mass, volume, length, time, area, and pressure.
I learned from this reading that there are different types of instruments that help us measure how It is the ruler or the tape measure since they help us to know what is the measurement of the object that we need .
