Importance of Tools

He human being he has always had the need to create utensils that help him facilitate his work. Since its origin, manual labor has been an essential part of the development of the species. Thus, in order to hunt others animals he has had to develop tools that will facilitate this activity. At the time when he became sedentary, the development of others that allowed him to plant seeds, crush them for the obtaining flour, skinning the skin, cutting the meat of cattle that they cared for, etc., thus allowing the tasks to be more simple.
The evolution of man and the continuous need to group together, which later led to the creation of larger settlements until the appearance of towns and cities, also caused other activities to develop outside the home and the agriculture. They created spaces that they would call homes, meeting centers, squares in which to exchange or sell products, means to transport all kinds of goods and people, and the creation of primitive industries, forced the human being to be original and have the need to invent specific tools for all these new types of work and industries primitive.
Thus, the need to create specific ones to build walls, to work with wood, to make roads, to make all kinds of clothing, fishing, etc., became very important. With the evolution of civilizations, all these primitive tools have evolved, both in size and shape and new ones have been designed as the human being has evolved and, with it, civilizations and their needs.
From the first ones built with wood or flint to today when there are countless tools of all kinds, for very specific jobs and made with very different materials, such as plastic, steel, titanium, etc. the use and designs have varied greatly. The purpose of these is, in many cases, the same with which the first ones were created: to continue facilitating man's work and making it much faster, more precise and even much finer and useful.
The key is that, thanks to the appearance of these elements, the evolution of man has been much faster from the point of view of his own physical and mental development and as a society. Let's think that all work needs a tool to be able to be done. We have the most basic in our hands and, from there, all new design is born from the need to help to perform a job more effectively and, with greater difficulty, more specific tools are they need.
