Importance of Environmental Hygiene

If we separate the term hygiene environmental we find two independent concepts that can make us understand the union of both. On the one hand we have the word hygiene. With it we refer to the importance of cleaning of certain objects or our own human body to favor and protect our health. On the other hand we find the environmental term, thus making reference to the environment, or what is the same, to the environment that surrounds us. Thus, we can understand environmental hygiene as the importance of having an environment or area that is clean enough so that our health is not affected.

We can treat environmental hygiene as a science. This would be in charge of studying, preventing and controlling the environmental conditions that surround the human being.

At this point it is important to point out that environmental hygiene is not having a clean floor. There are many other factors that can cloud or dirty the environment. Thus, we must also fight for clean air and even to eradicate what is considered acoustic saturation or

Why is environmental hygiene important? Environmental hygiene is necessary so that both the human being and the rest of living beings of the earth can live with a good quality of life. By avoiding environmental pollution, we are contributing to making the lives of all living beings on the planet much healthier, thus avoiding some diseases.

The main cause of environmental pollution is man. With the advent of industrial development, there are many toxic products that reach our atmosphere on a daily basis. Although it is not the only thing that can dirty the environment, it is a factor to take into account, therefore, the controls in the emission of gases and smoke are so strong in certain countries (those aware of this type of issues).

Environmental hygiene is also responsible for ending pests; and it is that having pests of rodents or cockroaches, for example, can be a problem that leads to large outbreaks of diseases.

Avoiding these problems involves acquiring a good environmental education. We must instill in the little ones the danger of this type of problem and how easy it can be do our bit to put an end to the problems of dirt in the air, in the water or in the land.
