The formal invitation or protocol, is a document addressed to a person and is written by an institution, business or company.

It is also called a protocol invitation to some invitations made by individuals, but that comply with a protocol.

This protocol is reflected in the elaboration directly in the structure of the document.

There are several ways to make a formal invitation and these vary depending on the event to be held.

The writing of an invitation of this type is carried out in the third person and in clear, courteous and distinguished language.

When it is done on a card, there is no signature or signature.

When it is written on behalf of an institution, it is written in the name of the owner, avoiding doing so with the name of the institution or the company.

Therefore it is wrong to write it this way:

The proper way is as follows:

"... Ramiro Gonzales García, rector of the Autonomous University of Mexico has the honor of inviting Juan Pérez López to the event to be held in ..."
