Example of How to Fill a Letter Envelope
Writings / / July 04, 2021
Due to how unusual it has become in these days to send letters by traditional mail, it is very common that we do not know how the envelope should be filled for sending it by mail or courier. That's why I write an article about it.
The envelope is the paper envelope of a letter, card, statement of account or any other document that is sent by the traditional postal service.
Envelopes can be purchased at convenience stores and stationery stores. They come in many sizes, colors, and weights (grammage).
The SENDER is the person who writes the letter (Me) and the full address including street, number, city, state and zip code must be entered.
The ADDRESSEE It is the person who receives the letter (to whom we send it) and the full address must be placed in the same way so that it is not lost and our envelope reaches its destination.
The SENDER is placed in the upper left, while the ADDRESSEE is positioned centered.
The DOORBELL or STAMP It is what the payment of the amount for the shipment proves and is purchased at the postal station.
Example of how to fill an envelope:
There is no single size for letter envelopes; there are different sizes of envelopes for different types of letters.

Types of envelope for letter:
- Gummed envelope: Which has glue that we have to moisten to close it. It is the envelope of all life.
- Self-adhesive envelope: This envelope has an adhesive that comes covered with a protector. More hygienic and clean than the traditional one, its use is becoming more and more widespread.
There are also two other design models: With a window, covered with a cellophane sheet, and without a window, completely closed. In the envelope with a window, we can place the front of our letter, so that the recipient of the heading of our letter, is in the window of the envelope.
As for its color, the most used is white, followed by the bone color. Other colors are rather for those who like to be noticed, or made especially with a design for a company. If we want to make a formal letter, let's try to use white envelopes.
