Hereby it is reported that both the Federal Commission for the Protection against Sanitary Risks (Cofepris), the Water System of Mexico City (SASM) and the Ministry of Health (SS-DF) confirm that the results of the latest bacteriological and chlorine analyzes in the drinking water of Tláhuac, Milpa Alta and Xochimilco show that there is no type of bacteriological risk for the population of said entities.

As a result of the incidents that occurred, we have agreed to establish coordinated work mechanisms to maintain a permanent and meticulous surveillance of drinking water throughout the city.

Thanks to these results we can affirm that the citizens of both these localities and those of the rest of the city can be calm, since drinking water does not represent any health hazard for they.
