    The conditioned reflex

    Author: Javier Hernández Chávez

    Introduction

The conditioned reflex is a psychological phenomenon of learning that was discovered by the scientist Russian Ivan Petrovich Pavlov, who experimented with dogs the learning stimulated by means of the prize and punishment.

    Theory

Learning has been studied from various points of view, and it has been found that learning carried out through stimuli and at a very young age produces long-term effects.

A series of observations was added to this study that gave evidence of a response to external stimuli, such as injuries infringed and prizes obtained.

This makes the mind lean toward activities that encourage reward and reject those that produce punishment.

    Experiments

Pavlov experimented with surgical dogs and obtained saliva, which he used as a means to see excitement when receiving food.

When I gave them their food, they rang a bell that after a time they associated with obtaining food, later the food was withdrawn but when the bell rang the dog had the same reaction as when obtaining his food.

After several repetitions of the experiment, the denomination of conditioned reflex was arrived at, since it stimulates externally to the dog to have a reaction to an external stimulus, a reflection that at young ages can be done almost permanent.

    Conclusions

This phenomenon of conditioned reflex can also be applied to men, as a feasible method of learning, being early age the best opportunity to teach long-range behaviors to children, which becomes a habit sometimes difficult to uproot, customs such as preferences, reading, food etc.

After a long trip I have seen how transport works, because although I had to do a small procedure that is to deliver a document, I had to cross the city, and finally I was able to get there.

But what did I have to do?

I was traveling on public transport and to get to my destination I had to take a bus that charged me almost 9 pesos, then I had to wait at another station for the one who left me right in front of the office.

Pay 9 pesos again and get to the office, I went in and did my job, but the other problem is the transportation, since its passage in the city is abrupt, its drivers are not well prepared and people have no respect no manners.
