Testimonial interview with Daniel, exchange student.
Interviewed: Daniel
Interviewer: Roberto
Roberto: Hi Daniel, thank you for giving us this interview.
Daniel: Thanks to you
Roberto: Tell us a bit, Daniel, how did you decide to go on an exchange?
Daniel: Well, I had always wanted to spend time abroad, learn about new cultures, etc., so when I was given the opportunity, I did not hesitate to take it.
Roberto: What do you study, Daniel?
Daniel: I study Business Administration at a Mexican university.
Roberto: And where did you go on your exchange?
Daniel: I was in Madrid, Spain. I spent six months there.
Roberto: Why did you decide to go to Madrid?
Daniel: It was not an easy decision. Carlos, my international advisor also recommended some universities in Australia, but hey, I suppose that the question of cultural proximity to Spain made me decide on Madrid.
Roberto: What do you value most about this whole experience?
Daniel: Without a doubt the opportunity to live alone in a different country and very far from mine. The opportunity to meet Paco and Ramón, friends who are close today, the opportunity I had to travel through Europe, and so on.
Roberto: Can you tell us about a day that you remember in a special way?
Daniel: Yes, it was the second week I was in Spain, it was August 4, I remember it very well. I was a bit sad because I didn't have any friends yet. At that, I got on the subway and received a call from my mother, that's when I met Paco and Ramón, they listened to me with a Mexican accent and began to talk to me, from then on we became very close friends.
Roberto: Thank you very much for your time, Daniel
Daniel: You're welcome, thanks to you.
Testimonial interview with Octavio, young entrepreneur:
Interviewed: Octavio
Interviewer: Rosa
Rosa: Hi, Octavio. Thank you very much for taking the time for this interview.
Octavio: You're welcome, thanks to you.
Rosa: Octavio, tell me a little about how you decided to open your own business.
Octavio: The truth is that a crisis hit me. I had lost my job due to a cut in the company where I had been working for 5 years, so I decided it was time to open my business. I used the settlement they gave me there to make the initial investment.
Rosa: And why open your own business and not seek employment in another company?
Octavio: Well, I think the best thing you can do is open your business, be your own boss, work for yourself and make a profit.
Rosa: Have you ever regretted this decision you made?
Octavio: It has definitely not been easy. It has been a bumpy road and yes, on some occasions I have thought about giving up. But the truth is that my wife Mariana and my parents always encourage me, they always motivate me. I owe them what I am.
Rosa: Are you currently happy with the decision you made to open your own business?
Octavio: As I told you, it has not been easy. But of course I'm satisfied now, I think we've achieved a lot.
Rosa: Very good, Octavio. Thanks for your time.
Octavio: Thank you very much.
