Philosophy is a science of ancient origin that focuses on solving the natural need of the human being for know, there is no specific branch in which philosophy is applied, rather it gets into all the Sciences. The characteristics of philosophy are very varied, but as we said before, philosophy in its beginnings encompassed all known sciences and arts, sciences such as:
Alchemy (antecedent of chemistry), astrology, astronomy, law, sculpture, aesthetics, strategies, military, ethics, physics, epistemology, history, mathematics, metaphysics, painting, politics, psychology, religion.
Later, philosophy was losing a large part of its elements, when these were individualized. Today philosophy is equally immersed in all sciences, but from an alternate and critical point of view.
The characteristics of the philosophy are:
Universality.- Philosophy is a science or art that studies all the arts starting from the universal or general, later arriving at the initial, seeking as much as possible its deepest ends.
Depth.- In philosophy, specific points are studied to the deepest point where it can be reached, and rationality is the most important point to achieve.
Review.- Philosophy questions the principles that are presented to it, and breaks them down to understand all the specific points, reaching the deepest point possible.
Certainty.- The most logical and tangible answer is sought, even in matters related to the ethereal or metaphysical.
It grounds.- Philosophy covers all aspects and bases each of its steps until reaching the ultimate causes, always guided by logic and its premises
Universal or totalizing.- The philosophy is not conformist with partial or gregarious answers, and for that reason it goes as deep as possible to have complete answers.
Wisdom.- Philosophy has a great interest in that man obtain the desired wisdom, a product of the very end of philosophy itself.
Practice (praxis) .- The philosophy applies to daily life and daily problems, and confronts prejudices and misconceptions, clearing the way, leading us to new concepts that will solve our circle.
