Administration is the discipline that is responsible for the management and distribution of resources, both material and human beings, based on rational criteria aimed at satisfying specific objectives, for the best distribution of resources. It has been known since ancient times, arising from the need for the distribution of resources in developing societies, starting from the centralization of power and the distribution of labor, coupled with the need to account for and save agricultural surpluses, for their distribution in times of scarcity, being essential at present, for any social organism, be it governmental, institutional, educational, military, political, religious, factory, commercial, etc.
It is Universal, understanding by universal that the administration is applied in different fields, for the better functioning of the institutions. Generally, when we talk about administration today, it refers to two essential fields, public and private administration, being subdivided into different categories.
Public administration refers to government administration, or public bodies, such as schools, medical, military, judicial institutions, etc., where those in charge of administering are officials.
Private administration refers to the administration carried out in private institutions such as banks, companies and businesses, where the Administration is exercised by people with positions with attributions for this purpose, such as managers, supervisors and people called precisely administrators. Administration is generally understood to be the type of economic administration of monetary or accounting resources within companies and governments.

It is applied in different fields for the better functioning of the institutions and the distribution and use of resources; An example of this are the public, business, military, ecclesiastical, family administration, etc.
It has a hierarchical unit; Those who have the character of a boss or hierarchically superior, have different degrees within the administration, this happens, for example, in a family, where the father and mother have a high hierarchical rank and are responsible for the most important features of the administration family.
The administration has a certain degree of specificity; This is clearer in the case of a company, in which a manager for monetary affairs is appointed, who is familiar with the administration of finances, thus avoiding that an engineer, for example, is in charge of the administration financial
It uses several disciplines, depending on the type of administration in question, for example in government or business administration, include disciplines such as mathematics, statistics, economics, law and sociology, to be able to carry out the administration efficiently and satisfactory.
It is typical of the administration of resources, the increase in efficiency and productivity in any social sphere, be it governmental, domestic or business, the administration tends to improve processes through a good distribution of both human and materials.
And finally, we can say that it is used at all hierarchical levels, both in the private and public spheres, it is exercised by presidents, ministers, and officials of different levels in government administrations, managers, supervisors, heads of areas in Business.
