Historical thesis budget
Contacts of pre-Columbian peoples with other populations of the Orb
Objective of the work
This thesis is intended to demonstrate the different contacts that have existed between American peoples before the arrival of Christopher Columbus, with peoples from the Polynesians, and Asian countries such as Japan and China.
Specific objective of the work
Trace the possible cultural lines from Polynesian peoples in Mesoamerican cultures.
Materials:
Recent archaeological discoveries give evidence of the contact of Polynesian and Asian peoples with peoples of the continent, how:
- Ceramic finds of the type used in China during a certain period, found on the American continent.
- Recent archaeological finds of chicken and hen bones (Gallus gallus domesticus) in Chile, which apparently come from chickens brought from Polynesia in a period prior to the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the continent.
Studies.
- Some linguistic studies that presuppose ancient contacts of Asian peoples, with continental populations, for some common phonetic similarities in words of some American languages with languages of Polynesia, China, and Japan.
With this thesis, it will be tried to demonstrate that the poly-cultural contacts that the American peoples have had date from before the European discovery and colonization.
