How to Get the Square Meters

    Math   /   by admin   /   July 04, 2021

A square meter It is the surface measure resulting from the multiplication of the sides of a square with the measure of 1 meter, and the formula to calculate the area of a square is to multiply side by side.

To calculate a rectangle, we multiply the measure of the longest side, called the Base (B), by the measure of the shortest side, called the height (h).

The area of the triangle is calculated by multiplying one of the sides of the triangle, called the Base (B), by the height, that is, the distance between the center of the side of the base and the vertex of the opposite angle (h), divided between 2.

In regular polygons, no matter the sides they have, the perimeter (p) is calculated, which is the sum of the length of the sides, by apothem (a), which is the distance from the center of the figure to the center of one of the sides, and the result divided between 2.

The area of the rhombus is multiplied by the measurements of the opposite vertices that pass through the center, called diameters, the major diameter (D) and the minor diameter (d), divided by 2.

The area of the trapezoid is calculated by adding the longest side, called the major base (B), with the smallest side, called the minor base (b) and dividing by 2. This result is multiplied by the height (h).

The area of the circle is calculated by multiplying the value of pi (3.1416) by the radius (r) multiplied by itself (radius squared = r2)
