Drafting / / July 04, 2021
The literary description is the direct description, which emphasizes the characteristics that the author wants to notice.
There are no exact rules for this description, and it is the authors who use their own style to explain the subject.
But in general, it is a description or explanation of something, and the authors try to get as close as possible to a description that explains without much effort what is meant.
Example of literary description:
Japan.
On the other side of the Pacific Ocean, is the land of the rising sun: Japan. An island, with varied contrasting landscapes: beaches with cheerful sun and warm waves, fishing villages that collect the food that the sea offers to be sent to all corners of the island; cities like Tokyo, where people come and go at a breakneck pace. Their houses dazzle us, because whether we are in the country or the city, we are surprised by their custom to enter them without shoes, always with a warm wooden floor or mat, with its doors of paper. And as a great watchdog of everything that happens in this exotic land, giant, majestic, imposing, loved as well as feared, it rises in the mountains. Fuji, the highest point in Japan, evoking the old legends that have had it as the scene of the great battles of Gods, dragons, spirits or samurai.
