The period is a punctuation mark that delimits the content of a sentence, a paragraph or a text. Specifically the new paragraph is the final point of each paragraph and of the text in general, other points such as the ellipsis, period and followed and colon, being excluded from this category, since each one has different applications being only the colon those that resemble the full stop as the end of a paragraph, but this punctuation mark implies the existence of something else go ahead.
The full stop, as we mentioned, applies in several situations, among which the following stand out:
- End of a paragraph
- End of a sentence
- End of a poem and
- End of a text.
Example of full stop:
The full stop is placed in the lower right part of an entire text, either paragraph or text complete, for better distinction the word that has the end point will be highlighted in bold.
Example 1 Period at the end of a paragraph:
