The legend is a type of information that is transmitted directly and that is susceptible to allegorical changes. The legend is a narration type that, originally, passed from mouth to mouth and that the legend was based on real circumstances or that they were between the real and the imagination.

Third.- The legend is written, although initially it was only spoken, and the writing causes the allegorical changes of the main character or characters to be partially stopped.

Fourth.- The legend is distinguished by being located in a specific period and generally in a delimited place, although this last part may change depending on the context of the legend.

Fifth.- The legend can encompass different genres since, culturally, several types or versions have been separated such as:

• Etiological legends
• Local legends
• Royal legends
• Religious legends
• Urban legends

Legends are widely disseminated due to how easy they are to alter and popular dissemination of them. promotes, regardless of the fact that they are part of the basic idiosyncrasy of peoples and cultures.
