Example of Poetry And The Poet

Poetry, etymologically, means creation. The poet, only the poet, performs the marvelous miracle of creating poetry. Not a few definitions have been given of it; but no definition contains the full meaning.
The beautiful rhyme of Bécquer comes to mind, regarding the matter, which says:
"What is poetry?, you say, while you nail your blue pupil into my pupil. What is poetry? Are you asking me that? Poetry... Are you."
It is difficult — perhaps impossible — to teach and learn to versify. The magical power of communicating thoughts, feelings, emotions in verse is something innate to the poet. "So he can give himself the title of lawyer, doctor, engineer, theologian, and even philosopher," Juan Valera wrote. but the title of poet cannot be given. The title of poet is only achieved by acclamation. "
The poet —moved by a hidden impulse of the soul— puts his ingenuity into play to link selection words in the structural form of the verse. "It is - according to Pedro Salinas - like marvelous telescope glass that discovers stars where they were not seen."
