It can refer to historical events of a locality, country, person or group of people; This type of literary work is made by someone who saw or lived the events it describes; using simple and clear language in order to present the story in an objective way.

The chronicle is also a resource used in journalism to narrate important events of the moment.

One of the different types of chronicle is the short chronicle, which is the most used in newscasts or short stories of an event, which can be a sporting, social, cultural event or any topic that is relevant at that time.

Short Chronicle: A New Continent

Short Chronicle: Going to the Hospital

It was six in the afternoon when my mother called me on her cell phone, that's when I found out that an uncle had a decompensation due to diabetes, in reality we had never had that problem and did not know what make.

The worst thing is that he lives far from health centers, although he lives in the city.

The first thing I did was get as much money as I could from an ATM and I asked some of them relatives borrowed money, I prepared everything to take him to the first hospital and the closest was a hospital private.

I called a taxi driver and he was ready to help us, but the taxi driver did not know the city and I had to tell him where we should go.

Finally we arrived at the “Asunción Hospital” and they treated him well, but the surprise was that they charged $ 15,000.00 to admit him, and generally they charged $ 1,700.00, it was a lot to support him.

Finally, once stabilized, they charged me only 5,000.00 and we took him to another cheaper health center that allowed us to get out of the problem better. After three days we have him back at home.

Short Chronicle: My New Tuxedo

Hello, I am Juan José and in February I will have my graduation, and for that we will all be dressed up. My parents decided that I should buy a ball gown, and we went to buy it in one of the most famous boutiques in the city.

First, some very nice young women who are at the reception attended me, my parents accompanied me and told me that types of suits exist, so my dad told one of the girls we wanted a ball gown, it's for a graduation.

They showed many suits, and they told us that there were different types of fabric, finally they chose me a tuxedo, this was black, although there was white.

My father told me that white suited me better, but being formal he should wear black.

Coincidentally there was my friend Antonio, who went for his suit, he chose a white suit, so I decided to buy a black one.

The situation did not end there, because a man and the girls were measuring my body, because the tuxedo would fit my size, they showed me some shoes and the necessary accessories.

Three days later I went to have my adjustments measured and today after 15 days I finally have it at home, a week before the event.
