When the reasons that support said idea are based on concepts that are generally accepted, or scientific facts that cannot be contradicted, then they are known as rational arguments.
The rational arguments They can be logical, which are those that base their reasons on cause-effect situations, or analogical, which are those that are exposed based on similar situations or reasons.
Example of rational arguments:
Argument on the need to increase the budget for science and technology education.
For a country to achieve economic development that allows its inhabitants to have a good level life, it is necessary for the state to increase the budget in the area of scientific education and technological.
It is observed that countries with a stable economy invest at least 1% of GDP in scientific and technological development. Countries like the United States, Germany and Japan, to mention a few, invest an average of 3% of GDP in these items.
The countries of emerging economies that have obtained the most economic development in the last decade have as a common point that they have increased investment in science and technology at an average of 1.5% of GDP, so it is conclusive that these are determining factors in the economic development of a nation.
When a country has a strong economy, the standard of living of its inhabitants increases, as there are more and better job opportunities, therefore it is possible to conclude that the increase in investment for education and research in science and technology implies a stronger economy that allows the inhabitants to have a better level of lifetime.
