Sample Debt Settlement Letter

The debt settlement letter is a document that establishes the payment of the settlement that a worker at the end of their employment relationship with a company or the payment that a person or company that has provided their services.

When the person or company to whom money is owed has received the stipulated amount, he signs a settlement letter accepting that the company is free of any debt with him.

Example of a debt settlement letter for services:

Teckno S.A. de C.V.
Department of credit and collection.

I hereby certify that a transfer was made today to the bank account of the company Teckno S.A. from C.V. for an amount of $ 110,325.00 (one hundred ten thousand three hundred twenty-five pesos 00/100 m.n.), which covers the total payment of services of communication and advertising provided to the company Paloma S.A. de C.V., with which the debt they had pending with U.S.

Example of Letter of Settlement of debt due to employment relationship:

Mexico DF. April 12, 2008.
I hereby certify that I received the amount of $ 80,000.00 (Eighty thousand pesos 00/100 m.n.) as a settlement of the employment relationship that I had with Cubo S.A. de C.V. located at Av. Rincon de las Flores No. 34, a company where I provided my services from May 2, 2000 to April 4, 2008.

In the same way, I certify that all the benefits to which I was entitled by law were covered by the aforementioned company and therefore stated that to date no amount is owed concept.
