The informative letter are the letters that companies and institutions use to get information to the public. In the business environment they are frequently used to inform about matters of interest to their clients, such as in cases of changes of address, opening of new branches, and promotions specials.
In the institutional sphere, whether public or private, they are used to announce new provisions, changes and reorganizations that affect the general public, such as the opening of a public building, the temporary closure of a street to do some public work, or announcing a event. In the school environment, as in universities, they are used to announce the requirements that students must have to be admitted to said institution.
These types of letters are public and it is customary to send them to a wide sector of the population, since either through mailing lists, electronic mail and sometimes through publication in newspapers.
